Executive Director – CLO Structurer

London, hybrid working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and technically skilled CLO Structurer to join a leading Securitised Products team based in London. The successful candidate will contribute to the origination, structuring, and execution of complex securitisation transactions, with a focus on Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs), as part of a wider European and global strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and execute CLO and other securitisation transactions (public and private), including cashflow modelling, drafting term sheets, and reviewing legal documentation.

  • Support business origination by preparing marketing materials and client pitchbooks.

  • Analyse asset portfolios and contribute to internal credit application processes.

  • Actively monitor the European CLO market and contribute to strategic initiatives and product innovation.

  • Ensure timely communication with internal teams (risk, legal, middle/back office) to facilitate seamless execution of transactions.

  • Represent the team in external client meetings and negotiations with investors, legal advisors, and rating agencies.

  • Monitor warehouse limits and asset approvals related to CLO warehousing.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in structuring CLOs or complex credit securitisations.

  • Strong understanding of the European CLO market and regulatory environment.

  • Excellent analytical and cashflow modelling skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple transactions simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • FCA certification (Client Dealing Function) required.
