An opportunity has arisen for a senior-level Corporate Finance Relationship Manager to join the Infrastructure & Energy Finance team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing complex project finance transactions across key infrastructure and energy sectors including power and renewables, transport, environment, telecoms, social infrastructure, and natural resources.
This role offers a high level of responsibility with direct client engagement and transaction leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep project finance expertise, strong credit and modelling capabilities, and a proactive approach to client coverage and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Originate and execute project finance transactions within the infrastructure and energy sectors

Lead deal teams in preparing indicative terms, structuring credit applications, and managing internal approval processes

Negotiate financing documentation and manage transaction execution, including coordination with legal advisors and technical consultants

Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, corporates, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders

Oversee the preparation of high-quality pitch materials and support strategic business development initiatives

Collaborate with internal teams across coverage, syndication, distribution, legal, portfolio management, and risk

Support the growth of the bank’s originate-to-distribute model

Mentor and provide oversight to junior team members, supporting their development and performance
Candidate Profile

Extensive experience in project finance and structured finance, ideally within an investment banking, advisory, or lender environment

Demonstrated track record of leading transactions through full execution lifecycle

Strong credit analysis skills, with formal credit training preferred

Advanced financial modelling capabilities, including experience building models from the ground up

Familiarity with financing documentation and negotiation processes

Effective communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritise competing demands, and work under pressure
