Regulatory Project Manager / Business Analyst (12-Month FTC), Asset Management

The Opportunity

A leading investment management firm is seeking a dynamic Regulatory Project Manager / Business Analyst to join its expanding Change team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a pivotal role supporting the firm’s ambitious strategic transformation agenda. You’ll work on high-profile, cross-functional regulatory change projects that touch every corner of the business and deliver real value.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of regulatory and compliance-aligned projects

  • Define project scope, timelines, and business value with clarity and precision

  • Manage cross-functional implementation plans and regulatory timelines

  • Track and report risks, issues, financials, and progress across all project phases

  • Chair steering committees and working groups, and manage governance documentation

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across business units and geographies

  • Liaise closely with technology teams and external vendors to drive successful outcomes

  • Identify operational impacts and plan seamless transition to business-as-usual

  • Keep current with industry trends, ensuring project delivery reflects best practices

  • Promote continuous improvement within the Change function

What You Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in hybrid PM/BA roles within financial services

  • Strong understanding of the asset management industry, including regulatory frameworks (UCITS knowledge a plus)

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale regulatory programmes under strict timelines

  • Expertise in project initiation, governance design, roadmap development, and business case creation

  • Business analysis capability including MI gathering and post-implementation reviews

  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Technically literate – familiarity with core data and systems concepts; programming experience a plus

  • Results-oriented, resilient, and organised with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
