Client Implementation Manager – Institutional Client Group, Asset Management

London, hybrid working

We’re seeking a Client Implementation Manager to join an asset management firm’s Institutional Client Group, leading the onboarding and implementation of new institutional mandates — including Segregated Portfolios, Advisory, and Sub-Advisory arrangements.

You’ll act as the key contact for clients, coordinating stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to deliver seamless transitions from mandate pre-win to funding. The role also covers lifecycle events, strategic initiatives, and platform management across Cayman and ETF structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding of institutional mandates and manage complex lifecycle events.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery and excellent client experience.
  • Translate client requirements into effective operating models and solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and lead client/stakeholder meetings.
  • Oversee implementation across Cayman and ETF platforms, including new fund launches, regulatory readiness, and process improvement.
  • Represent the onboarding function in pitches, due diligence, and senior forums.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of financial products (equities, fixed income, derivatives, funds).
  • Experience managing complex client onboarding or fund implementation processes.
  • Confident working across multiple teams and time-sensitive projects.
