I joined St. James’s Place in 2014, initially in the actuarial team and then transitioned to specialise in Alternative Investments.
As the current Head of Alternative Investments, I head up a team of investment analysts who monitor our alternative investment strategies and I am involved in developing our client proposition within this space. Aside from my role, I am passionate about promoting diversity in our industry. I have been involved in mentoring and public speaking, for example with the 30% Club and the Diversity Project. Furthermore, in early 2020, I founded Unity, SJP’s official professional women’s network. In just six months, the network grew to over 100 members and 10 Chapters around the UK and internationally. As a qualified actuary, I also enjoy volunteering for the Institute of Actuaries and am the current Deputy Chair of the Finance and Investment Research Sub-Committee at the Institute. My work has been recognised in the industry and I was Highly Commended at the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2020 and am a finalist for Investment Week’s Women in Investment Awards 2020.
