Interim HR Manager (12-month FTC), Asset Management

London, hybrid working

We’re looking for an experienced HR generalist / HR Business Partner to join a leading UK investment management firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll provide trusted HR support across the business while designing and delivering the firm’s Learning & Development strategy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as a trusted HR partner across multiple business areas, flexing to changing priorities
  • Delivering pragmatic, high-quality advice across ER, performance, talent, engagement and reward
  • Leading firm-wide people and culture initiatives from concept to delivery
  • Running the annual Training Needs Analysis and shaping the annual L&D programme, blending existing initiatives with new external solutions
  • Coaching managers on performance management, underperformance and year-end processes
  • Partnering with Reward, Talent, Risk, Compliance and Legal on complex and regulated people matters
  • Improving HR processes and ways of working to increase impact and efficiency

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in an HRBP or senior HR generalist role in financial services
  • Confidence handling complex ER cases with sound judgement
  • Strong interest in learning, development and capability building
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project delivery skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously, juggling priorities and operating at pace
  • Professional, discreet and commercially minded
