Senior Manager, Research and Engagements

Approx. 9 months FTC, hybrid working, 4/5 days per week

 

Working for an innovative and growing NGO that provides investors with ESG company research and collaborates on matters focused on global food chains.

 

The Role

This is an influential role enabling investors to drive better engagement and stewardship outcomes in their investments in the food sector

  • Lead a team to produce ESG research, drive content creation
  • Develop and lead collaborative investor engagements with global food companies and external engagement with industry experts.
  • Support leadership with managing and coordinating workflow across multiple research and engagement projects
  • Leading direct dialogue with companies at senior level, establishing and maintaining relationship with investors, representing the company at conferences

 

Requires

  • Strong Project Management and people management skills, to lead a small team to plan and deliver key engagement projects
  • Ability to present and facilitate or chair meetings to external stakeholders
  • Experience and understanding of investors and what their interests are in relation to ESG risks in their portfolios
  • Food Industry knowledge or similar sector experience where key ESG themes are transferrable, previous financial industry experience
  • Excellent research and analytical skills both qualitative and quantitative with strong attention to detail, ability to identify trends in large data sets and derive conclusions
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint, experience working with Bloomberg beneficial.
