Foundation Associate, Grant Management

Investment Management Firm, West End. Full time with flexible working.

  • Supporting the development and delivery of the Foundation’s strategy of developing a more sustainable economic system through grant-making and research.  Working directly with the Foundation Director as part of a small team.
  • The successful candidate will help refine the impact measurement, management and reporting process for grantees and will include identifying and co-developing projects to advance the transition to a low carbon and just society.
  • Key responsibilities include: developing and managing a refined impact management framework for partnerships; sourcing and managing a portfolio of grants through their lifecycle; overseeing ongoing partnerships to ensure work is delivered, monitored and measured; supporting the foundation’s research and analysis of the market and trends; conducting due diligence and risk analysis to ensure resources and reputation are protected; leading implementation of a grant management tool for the Foundation.
  • Requires expertise in either impact management or international development and an understanding of financial markets.  Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills as well as strong communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be motivated and creative and have a passion for sustainability particularly as it relates to investment and the global economy and an interest in philanthropy.
