Director, Head of Prime Finance Origination EMEA – Institutional Sales

Global Bank, London, Full Time, Hybrid Working

 

  • Manage a team of experienced Prime Brokerage sales professionals who are responsible for identifying origination (new clients and new revenue) opportunities for the Securities Financing business.
  • Take a hands on approach as an individual contributor to assist the overall sales revenue effort
  • Be responsible for implementing and executing a strategy to grow the Prime Finance client business in Europe & Middle East.
  • Have a creative, persistent and assertive mind-set in order to bring new revenue opportunities and grow client balances.
  • Effectively collaborate with various other internal business area, teams and stakeholders
  • Have a deep understanding of Prime Brokerage across these solutions: 1) Cash Prime Brokerage 2) Synthetic Financing 3) Stock Lending 4) Market Access 5) Cash Equities 6) Equity Derivatives 7) Electronic Execution and 8) Margin Financing of Fixed Income Assets.
  • Viewed as a Trusted Advisor amongst the Hedge Fund industry, third-party service providers and investors within the Alternatives community
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to understand the structures of complex organisations and successfully navigate commercial negotiations.
  • Good knowledge of financial services Risk & Governance and the appropriate controls used in a Front Office setting
